Dangerous prayers happen when you turn your all over to God and offer yourself as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). They don’t take you to a comfortable, easy place. They test you, stretch you, and take you where you wouldn’t have chosen. They change not only your life but the lives of other people. Join gifted speaker and award-winning author, Cheri Fuller, as she illustrates—from Bible times to today—what happens when God’s people pray dangerous prayers. Each of the 21 chapters is rooted in scripture and weaves together a beautiful tapestry of lives and kingdoms impacted through the power of prayer.

my thoughts kitty

This is a great book full of different stories to explain how great and how scary prayer can be! Dangerous prayer is letting God know that you’re ready to do as he wants and giving your life over but the dangerous part is asking.

It’s like that old adage be careful what you wish for. In the stories there were so many great things that happened because people were willing to ask how they could be used to help others.

Out of the stories here, the one that resonated with me the most was the girl that had a really hard time after she became a teen. Her parents had a hard time as well trying to understand her, as all parents do during that time. They almost lost her when she tried to commit suicide. Fortunately they wanted to help her but they also knew that there were some things that they couldn’t do without God.

There are many stories like this one, that really delve into life and how hard it can be but how great it is to pray and surrender yourself.

Very short, easy read that is an inspiration.
