Some, beings of light.
Others, the Fallen, beings of unimaginable evil…

Seven Cyn is Kin and a CIA Operative. With her best friend Leon in tow, she flies to Wales in pursuit of an ancient relic, the Spear of Destiny.

Then throw the enigmatic Luc into the mix as he and Sev discover a love that defies the stars. Yet, there is a catch… Sev has been tasked with ending his life.

Together, they uncover the location of the Spear and end up in a race against time with the survival of the whole entire Universe left hanging in the balance in a battle between good verses evil.

Has Sev finally bitten off more than she can chew?

My Thoughts:

Wow, quirky, fun, easy to read! I was flabbergasted through most of the book and totally in love with these characters! They are soooo quirky! So lifelike and in your face with the latest sayings, and sometimes even a bit late sayings… It’s hard to imagine these as celestial beings but Jillian was able to bring them down to Earth (ha! pun intended!!)

The beginning of this book had me mad with delight. My jaw hit the floor. I was reading and loving every freaking word and would never have imagined skimming this, yes I’m going to say it again, quirky writing style. Jillian is able to bring the characters to life and the plot just jumps out at you! Wicked is like the baby of Douglas Adams and Clive Barker. Maybe not quite as intense as Clive Barker would make it but it’s still in your face!

The ONLY downside I have to this fabulous writing is that when you get into the first few chapters, I was so into it and then we start with explaining what is going on. It was like another author took over! I was so sad! I nearly told Jillian that I just wasn’t into it but I was stewing on it because the beginning was so epic that I just couldn’t let it lie and I am so glad I didn’t. The rest of the book and boy! The ending!! So imaginative… absolutely fabulous!

About the Author:

Jillian Kleine Der Löwe, oft described as the bastard love child of Monty Python, is the author of the bestselling Seven Deadly Sins series. She is a writer by day and (not your average) space cadet by night. With many years of experience in advertising, art, design, filmmaking, marketing, public relations, publishing and writing; she decided that the time had finally come for her to self-publish the novel which she had always dreamt of writing. With a steady supply of tea streaming through her veins, she enthusiastically and excitedly battles each day passionately crafting stories, one chapter at a time equipped with only her sarcasm and wit!

She lives with her adoring husband Michael (whom she has somehow managed to remain madly in love and enamored with after eleven years) and their three mischievous albeit cute feline children.

She is currently working on Lured, the second novel in the Seven Deadly Sins series.
