Bout of Books

It’s back!! I’m so excited! Reading for my birthday! What a better way to spend my day?!

I never, ever get to all of my books but I love having a nice, long list so I can pick and choose if something doesn’t work for me. I normally have ten books listed and I feel pretty good if I get through about half (ish). Always depends on the week and my mood, of course! And school! I did good last time so I’m hoping to kick some ass this time too!

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 9.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team.

My goals for the week:

  • Read, read, read!
  • Two books a day. Tuesday and Thursday are school days so that might cut into a bit of time but if I can still swing two books, that’ll be awesome!
  • Six from Netgalley.
  • Most importantly: HAVE FUN!

Challenge: Villain Mashup!

To pit two villains together! Today I’m going all psychological thriller! Although Ashley Bell is a little more paranormal, I would love to see what two psychopaths would do to each other. Both villains are totally out of their minds, but scary crazy. They both enjoy hurting others.  I say, save the world and screw them both over and hope they kill each other off!

    Happy belated birthday!
I haven’t read any of those books to fully understand the match up but two psychopaths would be an interesting pairing!

Both are psychological thrillers. I think Eeny Meany is actually a bit scarier because there are no paranormal elements. It could be someone from today!

Thank you! Lots of school work this week but I was able to get some reading done before school hit me too hard! 😀

This is totally Dean Koontz! I loved it! It has his paranormal twist with his normal horror elements. If you love his older books you would probably enjoy this one.
