April 30, 2017 Guilty Pleasures, Top Ten Tuesday 0

Top ten TuesdayTop Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We’d love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It’s a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

May 2: Cover Theme Freebie: Favorite Horror Covers

As a fan of horror I am surprised that there are covers out there that do not do justice to what is inside. Obviously I don’t want blood gushing from the covers, that would just be gross, but having a semblance of something that goes on inside the book would be nice. I like covers that are pretty interesting and have the ability draw the reader in (at least me) before I even look at the synopsis.

Stephen King normally has some great covers.

Technically Killing Floor Blues falls under Urban Fantasy but there’s enough horror and blood in this to add it to this list. All of these from Craig Schaefer have had incredible, gorgeous covers. I’d buy them even if I was not already a fan!

What are your favorite covers?
