26th – June 1st – What is the most fun part/aspect of being a book blogger? (submitted by Kristin @ Lukten av Trykksverte)s Reviews)

I’m a talker. If you’ve read any of my posts you can probably see that I love to get my opinion out there. I also love hearing how other people feel. Although I made this blog to be about books due to my love of reading, I love talking about everything. When at parties I’m that person that will ask you about your feelings on the politics of the day or if you belong to a particular church or believe in religion. I just love to get to know and hopefully understand people.

Book blogging is much less intrusive than asking about political and religious views. We can discuss books without unfriending each other on Facebook. We can discuss why or why we didn’t love a particular plot or character. Even when we disagree it is polite, wonderful, intriguing conversations.

Sadly, the downside to this is that I do not get out much, even on the internet. I’m a bit of an introvert so I have to make myself go out and say hi. I do try. I make myself get out there and talk to people and express how wonderful and intelligent I think their thoughts are. Or, and I do this mostly, I read and read and read and laugh or cry with other bloggers. I know we’ve had some ups and downs but we’re a lovely community, filled with so many different ways of thinking. It’s a community that although I am a tiny little corner, I’m proud to be a part of.
