About to be arrested, Brittany has no one else to care for her beloved dog. Can Lauren find the real killer before Chihuahua chaos conquers all and Brittany and Kirbee are separated forever?

This is ADORABLE. Dog, a cute mystery, and food! What!?

I purchased this because the publisher has Linda O. Johnston’s Barkery and Biscuits Mystery on Netgalley. I received that book but thought I would read her novella before I delved into the actual book.

The novella wound up being a short and sweet mystery that had all the right moves. It has intrigue, DOGS (of course), and a sleuth detective that thinks she is not in danger because she is too smart. Of course we all know that means she is going to be in danger.

I love the way Linda is able to bring the mystery to its conclusion without a lot of hubbub. There is some, worthy of good popcorn by the way, but not so much as to get annoying or boring.

My first Linda O. Johnston but will not be my last!
