Hello fabulous people!!

Another week is gone! I had to keep asking myself what day it was, and then checking the calendar, because this week FLEW! I did get to some reading for Bout of Books but not nearly as much as I had hoped. Two books completely fell flat for me (well, one but it was a series) and then I didn’t have the time to dedicate to reading. By this evening I should have my fourth book done so really, not that bad!

I’m super excited as it feels like my reading slump is finally gone (knocks on wood)! I have had to DNF a couple this month but not nearly as many as I did last month. I’m getting back into the groove of things now that school is becoming fun again! Still a lot on my plate but nothing like the last few months.

On a sad note, the hubby had to rescue me from our biking venture Saturday morning. I’m a weakling. There… I admit it. In my defense it was massively hot and muddy! We just bought a mountain bike so I was all gung ho about it and who cares if it’s muddy, I got this, blah blah blah! Yeah… two miles in and I thought I was going to die! Fortunately the hubster loves biking so he was able to rush to get home and get the car to come get me! UGH!!! It’s ok though. I forgive myself because I know I’m trying but next time I am not going out that late (like 10 am!!) with no tress to provide shade. And definitely not when it’s muddy.

How was your week?

The mud part sounds like no fun at all to me, but I’m a weakling and also chronically lazy 🙂 Have a great week 😀

That’s the exact reason why I’m allowing myself to DNF. There are just way too many great books out there to waste time agonizing over something that is not fitting! 😀 It’s taken me quite a while to learn that.
