Top Ten Top Ten Childhood Favorites
I feel like I had a ton of childhood favs but in reality there were only a few that really stuck with me.
- Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene – It’s strange to know that now I do not LOVE thrillers and mysteries. Although I have read a few cute mysteries lately that seem similar to Nancy Drew and I have fallen in love with them.
- The Secret Garden – I fell in love with this book. Every word transported me to this magical place. I haven’t read it in a long time but the nostalgia is there every time I think about it.
- Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel – Oh… what this book has done for me. Much like the previous books it has always had a special place in my heart.
There were many authors that stuck with me such as Clive Barker and Stephen King but the three stories above helped shape how I think today. I still love them.
