Writing and me…

August 20, 2012 Read a thon 10

Is there such a thing as writing and me? There used to be, way, way back when. A few years ago I started writing and absolutely loved it but never really pushed myself. I never had to hit a certain amount of words a day or anything like that, it was just for fun.

Today I decided, thanks to Michelle’s Sit Down and Write a thon, that I’m going to hit 1400 words a day. Now I know to some of you that may not sound like much and I may change it later this week but I haven’t written in so long, other than of course blogging, that 1400 words is a goal. I’ll see this week if it’s obtainable or not. If this is too easy I’ll edit it. The overall goal is to get back onto that wagon and come November, join NaNoWriMo!

Thank you so much! I got up with coffee bright and early just for this. Now I need a nap!

Good luck on your goals also!

Thank you! I’m hoping since I have to keep my post updated that I’ll do better than I have in the past! Writing is so much fun! But of course so is procrastinating.

Of course! I love all the “thons” you do! I am really excited about this one though, especially since I haven’t written in so long. This is such a fabulous idea!
